Adventure A Day CampĪugust 3rd-August 7th (11:00am-4:00pm) ages 13+ Utilizing various art techniques such as canvases, acrylic paints, watercolors, oil pastels and more, kids will showcase their artistic expression at the end of the week with an artist reception for their loved ones. This group will focus on coping skills, strategies and peer support for those struggling with symptoms related to anxiety and depression. Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:00pm, beginning on June 9th-July 28th (ages 13-17)

This group uses a weekly curriculum to address social skills and professionalism in the work place, general topics will include: managing work relationships, understanding feelings, attitudes and expectations of self and others, and work etiquette. Monday evenings from 6:00-7:30pm, beginning June 8th-July 27th (ages 16+) This camp emphasizes the importance of academics, organization, responsibility and physical training that college athletes must have.

Students will tour sports facilities, meet USF coaches and athletes, and have an opportunity to learn new skills needed to play some of the sports offered at USF. This camp allows students to be a part of various USF collegiate sports at USF Tampa. We are excited to offer our first USF sports camp for boys and girls ages 9-12. ** All academic camps are taught by a certified ESE teacher. This builds trust with the student, enhances motivation and demonstrates vital initiating, planning and problem-solving skills. Students define goals for their work in collaboration with their tutor. Students will work to develop coping strategies while they learn and model management, organization and self-monitoring skills. This intensive, week-long camp is offered to students who need assistance in the areas of independent functioning, organization, self-advocacy, and social skills. Independent Functioning/Organizational Skills Camp **All academic camps are taught by a certified ESE teacher. Utilizing the appropriate strategies and your child’s learning profile, a unique treatment plan is designed to meet your child’s specific needs and maximize individual gains. Small group instruction is combined with hands-on activities and games to make math interesting and fun for even the most reluctant mathematician. Math sessions will cover key math concepts and skills. Using multi-sensory, comprehensive strategies based on reading research, skill areas will target phonemic awareness, phonics, spelling, reading fluency, vocabulary development, writing, higher-order thinking skills, and comprehension. This intensive, one-to-one instructional reading, writing, and math camp is for all ages and learners. Participants will explore and learn social skills by increasing confidence and connecting with peers through action methods and trying on new roles.
